Amani Dorn recently relocated to Atlanta after 2 years as a Resident Artist at PCPA Theatrefest, and is now pursuing dialect coaching full-time. Following receiving her MFA in Acting from U.C. Irvine, Amani worked all over the country as an actor, teacher and occasionally stunt performer. Prior to joining PCPA, she taught various subjects in acting at U.C. Irvine, New York Film Academy, and in outreach programs for Cal Shakes as well as private and semi-private coaching. Some of her recent acting credits include: Dionne in Hair (The Mountain Play), Intisar in Veils (The Pear Theatre), Storm in Marvel Universe Live! (Nat'l Tour), Trix in The Drowsy Chaperone (Connecticut Repertory Theatre), The Woman in The Trial of Dedan Kimathi (U.C. Irvine), and Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream (New Swan Shakespeare Festival).
