Steven Pounders is an actor, director, and a professor in the Department of Theatre Arts at Baylor University, where he teaches acting and speech, and coaches accents for Baylor Theatre productions. He also serves as the Faculty-in-Residence for the Fine Arts Living Learning Center at Heritage Residence Hall. He has performed with Off Broadway theatres in NYC and with numerous regional theatres. In addition to being a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork, he is a Certified Meisner Technique instructor and a member of Actors Equity Association, the Voice and Speech Trainers Association, and the Society of American Fight Directors.
