Cynthia is on faculty at CalArts. She is a voice, speech and dialects teacher and has taught at UC Santa Barbara, University of Southern California, NY Film Academy and CSULA. Some dialect coach credits: South Coast Repertory’s The Long Road Today/Diálogos (bilingual play), Chance Theater’s In the Heights, UCSB/LaunchPad Untitled by Ruth Markovsky, USC’s Broken Eggs and Anna in the Tropics. She is an actress member of SAG/AFTRA, Actors’ Equity and the Voice and Speech Trainers Association. She is also a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®. Cynthia is bilingual (Spanish), has coached in both languages and is passionate about empowering diverse voices. She has a B.A. in Theater from USC and an MFA in acting from CSULA.
