This space will be held by Amani Dorn and Adi Cabral. With 90 minutes reserved\, we invite our fellow voice and speech enthusiasts of all backgrounds to join in a conversation about this year’s webinar offerings\, consider what the industry of voice and speech can do to support the needs of BIPOC voices\, and dance and gurn together in a space that exclusively centers BIPOC voices. This is not a space for white allies. We acknowledge the intersectional demographics of a BIPOC affinity space and acknowledge that this time together will also hold space for queerness\, disability justice\, gender\, and class/wealth inequities. \n  \nBeginning Session Agreements (from Nicole Brewer’s “Anti-Racist Theatre”) \n\nSpeak from the I\nTake Care of Yourself\nSpeak and Listen in Draft\nRespect the Agenda but Hold it Lightly\nAll Truths are Valid\nWhat is learned\, leaves. What is shared\, stays.\n\n  \nIf you have any questions about this affinity space\, please contact ktswebinars@gmail.com. \n  \nAdi Cabral (they/them) is a voice and dialect coach\, actor\, director\, and intimacy choreographer. Cabral has coached professionally at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities (CO)\, the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis (MO)\, New Repertory Theatre (MA)\, and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NY). Adriano is a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and Fitzmaurice Voicework and is a certified Master Reiki Healer and Teacher. They currently serve as Assistant Professor of Voice and Movement at the University of Nevada\, Reno where their research focuses on training methods for the LGBTQ+ Identified actor. Cabral is the co-author of the text Here’s How to Teach Voice and Communication Skills to Transgender Women and is serving this season as the Voice Coach for TEDxCambridge. For more information\, please visit www.adriano-cabral.com. \n  \nAmani Dorn (she/her) recently relocated to Atlanta after 2 years as a Resident Artist at PCPA Theatrefest and is now pursuing dialect coaching full-time. She is a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork. Following receiving her MFA in Acting from U.C. Irvine\, Amani worked all over the country as an actor\, teacher\, and occasionally stunt performer. Prior to joining PCPA\, she taught various subjects in acting at U.C. Irvine\, New York Film Academy\, and in outreach programs for Cal Shakes as well as private and semi-private coaching. Some of her recent acting credits include: Dionne in Hair (The Mountain Play)\, Intisar in Veils (The Pear Theatre)\, Storm in Marvel Universe Live! (Nat’l Tour)\, Trix in The Drowsy Chaperone (Connecticut Repertory Theatre)\, The Woman in The Trial of Dedan Kimathi (U.C.
