DESCRIPTION:A SIX-DAY WORKSHOP IN THE SKILLS OF ACCENT ACQUISITION\n Part One: April 11th-13th\, 2022\, 9am-4pm British Summer Time\,  London\, England. Meal break 12-1pm. \nPart Two: April 22nd-24th\, 2022\, 3pm-10pm British Summer Time\, online. Meal break 6-7pm. \nApril 14th-21st will be days off. Part One will happen in-person in London. Part Two will happen online. \nClick here for a full description of the workshop. \nExperiencing Speech and Phonetics Intensive are prerequisites for Experiencing Accents. \nFor more about Knight-Thompson Speechwork\, please visit About the Work. \n***With the recent discovery and quick spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19\, Knight-Thompson Speechwork has made the following plan for our upcoming in-person workshops in March and April of 2022: \nIf\, one week before the workshops begin on March 28\, 2022\, we are unable to travel from California to the UK and/or RADA is unable to host the workshops in person\, we will transfer them to the online format\, changing the times so that they begin in the afternoon and go into the evening UK time.  \nBut\, if we are able to hold the workshops in person\, we will require both proof of vaccination and masking\, and we will adhere to any testing policies RADA has in place at the time. *** \n \n\n \nWorkshop Costs:       \n\n\n\n\nVASTA Members    \n\n\n$850 USD*\n\n\n\n\nANY Union Members\n\n\n$850 USD**    \n\n\n\n\nNon-members\n\n\n$950 USD***\n\n\n\n\n \n*     Use the code “vasta” when checking out.\n**   Use the code “unionpride” when checking out.\n*** If you’re interested in repeating an “Experiencing…” workshop that you’ve already taken\, add your name to the “re-taker” waitlist here. We will contact you two weeks prior to the start of the workshop to let you know if there is space for you and provide you with a discount code for 1/2 off the full price of the workshop (discounts cannot be combined).\nDeadlines:\nIn order to plan effectively for these workshops\, it’s important to have a clear sense of the commitment of potential participants. For that reason we ask for a deposit of $200 to secure your place in the workshop. This is due six weeks prior to the start of the workshop\, on February 28\, 2022. The full payment is due three weeks prior to the start of the workshop\, on March 21\, 2022. If your plans change\, and you are unable to attend\, we will refund any payment less $75 if you inform us by March 28\, 2022. \nAfter that date\, however\, no refunds are possible.
