DESCRIPTION:Registration for EXPERIENCING SPEECH #28 is currently closed.\nA Six-Day Online Workshop in:\nthe sounds of the world’s languages \nthe physicality of speech actions \nintroducing descriptive phonetics \nthe skills of formal and informal speech \nWith Teachers Julie Foh\, Eliza Simpson\, & Jeremy Sortore \nDecember 12th-18th\, 2020\, 8am-3pm Pacific Time. \nDaily lunch break 11am-12pm. \nDecember 15th will be a day off. \nAll sessions will be recorded and shared with participants. \nClick here for a full description of the workshop. \n“Experiencing Speech has been a practical\, detailed and really fun exploration of all the possible speech sounds – I felt as though I was in the safest\, most experienced possible hands and it’s been a joy to share the time with such an interested\, warm group of people. (No phonetic transcription will be used in Part One of the workshop.) For that reason we ask for a deposit of $200 to secure your place in the workshop. This is due six weeks prior to the start of the workshop\, on October 31st\, 2020. The full payment is due three weeks prior to the start of the workshop\, on November 21st\, 2020. If your plans change\, and you are unable to attend\, we will refund any payment less $75 if you inform us by November 28th\, 2020. After that date\, however\, no refunds are possible.
