In addition to his 2016 KTS Certification, Chris holds a BFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, and an MFA in Acting from Wayne State University/Hilberry Repertory Theatre in Detroit. Besides the KTS "triumvirate" of Phil Thompson, Andrea Caban, and Erik Singer, Chris has studied voice and speech under Michael J. Barnes, Donna Germain, Arthur Bartow, Lyn Darnley, has been mentored by Gary Logan and Wendy Waterman, and is proud to have received his KTS Certification alongside rising stars in the field Jeremy Sortore, Eliza Simpson, Kristi Dana, and Tyler Seiple. Chris is the in-house speech and dialect coach for the rapidly growing Detroit Public Theatre, and has also coached at Chautauqua Theater Co., the Alliance Theater (Atlanta), Irish Classical (Buffalo), and numerous other regional theatres. He has served as adjunct professor of Voice, Speech, Dialects and Acting in Wayne State's BFA and MFA programs, as well as vocal and dialect coach for nearly 25 productions at the Hilberry and Bonstelle Theaters. His coaching work has been favorably mentioned on Michigan Public Radio, in print, and by directors, actors, and audience alike. Chris also coaches clients independently.
